Sr. Solutions Architect, Networking (Minneapolis, MN)

About the role

We are seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to join our Pre-Sales Engineering Team in Minneapolis, MN. This role involves meeting with customers, gathering requirements for network and security projects, and developing engineering solutions for sale.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level technical solutions and present to customers
• Collect business and technical requirements
• Complete end-to-end, full lifecycle network designs
• Drive whiteboard conversations
• Craft customer facing presentations
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations
• Write statements of work (SoW) and develop Professional Service pricing
• Self-pace and set direction in a team environment
• Build relationships with Account Executive/Extended Sales Teams
• Maintain and develop technical and technology specific skill sets and certifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
• 7+ years of experience, demonstrating significant expertise in enterprise class network and security solutions
• Expert-level knowledge and experience with design, implementation, and support of complex routing and switching solutions, next gen firewalls/VPNs, SSE and SASE technologies, Network Access Control, IDS/IPS solutions, data center switching/segmentation solutions, SDWAN solutions, and wireless solutions
• One or more of the following certifications: CCDP/CCNP/CCIE and other non-Cisco certifications
• Experience in a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) environment
