Sr. Solutions Architect , Healthcare & Life Sciences
About the role
AWS Solutions Architects partner with customers to design and build some of the most scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures and solutions. They collaborate with AWS Sales and other AWS teams to help address customer business challenges and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. Key responsibilities include helping organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions, providing advice on strategies for migrating existing workloads to the cloud, guiding organizations in adopting advanced cloud-based solutions, and developing and implementing a strategy to build mindshare and increase adoption of AWS.
Responsibilities
- Help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions
- Provide advice on strategies for migrating existing workloads to the cloud
- Guide organizations in adopting advanced cloud-based solutions
- Develop and implement a strategy to build mindshare and increase adoption of AWS
- Interact and communicate effectively with various teams at AWS, including services, marketing, and professional services
- Represent your own team to executive management
Requirements
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Qualifications
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of AWS services and best practices

Pay
