Sr. Software Engineer, Manufacturing Quality
The Manufacturing Quality Data Engineering team at Tesla specializes in predicting safety-critical issues before they occur, safeguarding our customers. As part of the Vehicle Engineering organization, you'll work with a wealth of data from design, manufacturing, and vehicle sources to develop innovative generative AI and machine learning platforms.
What You'll Do
Design and deploy scalable architectures for AI applications, including generative systems, using LangGraph and ensure seamless integration to enhance system performance.
Develop and refine AI and machine learning models, such as graph-based models, using technologies like Large Language Model, Retrieval Augmented Generation, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit learn to generate valuable business insights.
Create and optimize a comprehensive evaluation framework for generative models, focusing on performance improvements and efficiency.
Architect and implement data pipelines and automation systems to streamline data handling, including batch and real-time data processing.
Design and manage robust data storage and management systems, utilizing relational databases, NoSQL databases, and graph databases to meet diverse data needs.
Extract actionable insights from manufacturing, equipment, and vehicle data to predict and prevent failures, guiding proactive maintenance and quality control.
Develop and integrate back-end APIs, refining payload and response designs for seamless interaction and optimized system interoperability.
What You'll Bring
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of work experience in software development.
Experience with software engineering technologies, including Python, Docker, Kubernetes, MySQL, Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Apache Kafka, and ETLs.
Experience with machine learning frameworks and technologies, such as Large Language Model, Retrieval Augmented Generation, LangGraph, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit learn, and graph neural networks.
A strong attention to details and diligence in unit testing and integration testing.
