About the role
As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will use your expertise to guide and support your team to develop and successfully implement complex software solutions working on the customer-facing Lowe's iOS Mobile App. As a technical expert, you’ll support your team throughout the software development process, personally develop and deliver code modules, and contribute to integrated software solutions across a variety of computing environments.
What you will do
- Translate complex business requirements and functional specifications into executable stories, designs, and code modules; partner with product teams to understand business needs and functional specifications.
- Independently write high-quality, maintainable, and robust code by building adequate test suites and observability frameworks.
- Guide application and software development teams in the design and build of complex solutions, ensuring alignment with architecture blueprints, standards, and strategies.
- Participate in and mentor other engineers in software development technologies and processes by creating onboarding documents, conducting root cause analysis, sharing key learnings, and hosting demos.
- Automate and simplify team development, testing, and operations processes to improve efficiency.
- Evaluate modern software, tools, and technologies to provide objective analysis and recommendations to the team.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold high code quality, ensure iOS best practices, and drive continuous improvement for yourself and the team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and innovations in Apple products and iOS development.
- Share thoughts and ideas on how to improve the iOS consumer mobile application.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems (CIS), or a related field (or equivalent years of experience).
- 5 years of experience in software development or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in any of the following competencies: frontend technologies (user interface/user experience), middleware (microservices and application programming interfaces), database technologies, or DevOps.
- 4 years of experience working on projects involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC) through iterative agile development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science, CIS, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience writing technical documentation in a software environment, developing and implementing business systems, and working with source code control systems.
- 4 years of experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, defect or incident tracking software, web services, and application and integration middleware.
- 4 years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high-level design for complex solutions.
- 4 years of experience working with three or more of the following: Continuous integration/continuous deployment tools, frontend technologies, middleware, database technologies, and/or DevOps.
- 4 years of experience with overall iOS Mobile Application Development and frameworks.
- 4 years of experience with Swift/Swift UI, XC Test, Xcode, and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.

Pay
Pay Range: $95,100.00 - $180,700.00 annually. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
