Sr. Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing effective Analytics solutions and models deployed on Cloud platforms (Azure/GCP). This is a 12-month hybrid contract position based in Bentonville, AR.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective Analytics solutions and models that are deployed in Cloud platforms (Azure/GCP).
• Examine business requirements and provide solutions.
• Interact with TPM, Tech Lead, and lead the conversation.
• Build applications based on business requirements by following industry coding standards, writing unit test cases, and meeting or exceeding coverage percentages defined by the project.
• Ensure features built are successfully tested and deployed to production.
• Implement proper monitoring solutions as recommended by the Client.
• Understand and document the design and service specifications built for the application.
• Provide guidance to developers in preparing functional/technical specs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, any Cloud Platform (Azure is a plus), and any NoSQL Database.
• Strong experience in Kafka or any Messaging Queue.
• Hands-on experience or knowledge in designing large-scale applications/high volume experience is preferred.
