Responsibilities

  • Develop, code and test end-to-end stack of applications.
  • Analyze, review, and modify programming systems, including coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Perform tasks of technical depth and breadth, utilizing a solid understanding of business dynamics to conduct impact analysis and provide feedback on problems with recommended solutions.
  • Design, code, and test APIs using .NET C# in an Azure environment.
  • Participate and conduct technical design, development, and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
  • Work closely with key business and technology partners to ensure that business and client impact issues are well understood and addressed.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and information security standards and policies are maintained in all aspects of the application management.
  • Provide technical guidance concerning business implications of application development projects.
  • Help transform business requirements specifications into programming instructions, designing, coding, and testing programs.
  • Play a key role in the development and implementation of database management solutions, supporting the company’s backup plans.
  • Use judgement and autonomy on day-to-day tasks, exercising considerable latitude to conduct data source analysis and negotiate with users regarding requirements.
  • Help with the API development primarily but web development experience using JavaScript is also desirable.

Requirements

You can demonstrate experience. 5-7 years as an Application Developer/Support and Integration Specialist wearing multiple hats to help support internal clients. You must have good knowledge and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, good understanding of databases, Oracle, SQL, batch processing, knowledge of firewalls, FTP and SFTP. Experience in application production support including logical thinking, organizational and troubleshooting skills. Ability to manage relationships with technology and business partners to ensure the systems and processes supporting the applications are operating effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications

You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field of study.

Skills

  • Programming Skills - Develop, code and test end-to-end stack of applications.
  • C# .Net Azure, SQL Server.
  • Nice to have - React/Angular, any other RDBMS or document database.
  • Desirable - Banking / payments domain, API portal/developer portal, open banking frameworks.
  • Systems Implementation - Participate and conduct technical design, development, and integration of cross functional, multi-platform application systems.
  • Troubleshooting and Technical Skills – Work closely with key business and technology partners to ensure that business and client impact issues are well understood and addressed. Ensure adherence to all regulatory and information security standards and policies are maintained in all aspects of the application management. Provide technical guidance concerning business implications of application development projects.
  • Relationship Management - Build strong relationships and partnerships with technical team members, clients, vendors and peers. Lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure problems/issues are identified and resolved. Express oneself and communicate with others verbally at an advanced level; recognizing that verbal communication is more than just language - it includes tone, style and structure.

This role has an expected salary range of $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.

Pay

The expected salary range for this role is $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.

Schedule

This role operates within a normal office environment. Hybrid - 2 days in office, 3 days remote.
