Sr Software Development Engineer

About the role

Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new cloud-based products and internet related tools.
Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software applications.
Analyzes requirements, tests and integrates application components.
Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or internet-related computer programs.
• Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.
• Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
• May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
• May oversee projects and/or programs, as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Basic Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications

• 2 years (24 months) of experience in object-oriented design and development;
• 2 years (24 months) of experience in algorithms and data structures;
• 2 years (24 months) of experience in programming language such as Python;
• 2 years (24 months) of experience in database and querying languages such as SQL;
• 2 years (24 months) of experience in MLOps;
• 2 years (24 months) of experience in CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or Git.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• 5 years (60 months) of experience in object-oriented design and development;
• 5 years (60 months) of experience in algorithms and data structures;
• 5 years (60 months) of experience in programming language such as Python;
• 5 years (60 months) of experience in database and querying languages such as SQL;
• 5 years (60 months) of experience in MLOps;
• 5 years (60 months) of experience in CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or Git.

Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.

Pay

Salary Range: $177,861 - $234,000

Schedule

Position may allow for partial telecommuting.
