The Senior Software Development Engineer is responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting Salesforce Service Cloud and integrated enterprise applications that enhance Customer Experience operations. This role plays a key part in delivering scalable technical solutions that improve business processes and operational efficiency. It involves collaboration across teams to ensure high-quality implementations that support customer service and experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and support Salesforce Service Cloud and related enterprise applications.
• Lead the technical implementation of complex Salesforce enhancements using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and APIs.
• Collaborate with analysts, product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership in solution design, code reviews, and development planning.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
• Perform unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Analyze and resolve complex production issues with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Participate in Agile development processes including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release management.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of Salesforce development experience, including at least 2 years with Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, SOQL/SOSL, Platform Events, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum SDLC.
• Ability to develop and support integrations with enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required within the first year if not already obtained.

Qualifications

• Additional Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer II, Administrator, Service Cloud Consultant).
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools and practices.
• Knowledge of Salesforce AI capabilities and workflow automation.
• Experience supporting Customer Experience or Professional Services functions.
• Technical leadership and mentoring experience.
• Familiarity with enterprise integrations and related business applications.
