Sr. Software Developer Engineer - Testing
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks (including framework creation, enhancements, and long-term maintenance).
- Write and maintain automated tests using Java and C#, applying strong engineering practices (clean code, reuse, maintainability).
- Author, test, and evangelize AI optimization Agents, Skills, and related AI assets focused on automating and optimizing test management lifecycle with an AI First mindset.
- Guide product teams to create and maintain test plans, test approach documents, and execute test strategies aligned to delivery goals.
- Troubleshoot test and software issues using logs, diagnostics, and monitoring outputs to isolate root causes and recommend fixes.
Required Qualifications
- Strong technical abilities and comfort working with multiple software tools and programs.
- 3 - 5+ years (or equivalent) in software testing with a strong focus on test automation.
- Strong programming skills in Java and C# (and ability to learn other languages/tools as needed per project).
- Strong knowledge of testing processes, problem solving, creating test plans, executing tests, opening/tracking defects, and delivering test status and recommendations, including experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate test case development, improve coverage, and analyze defects for root causes.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub suite for planning, test management, reporting, and pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- CI/CD pipeline design and optimization experience (gating, test stages, parallelization, reporting).
- Familiarity with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code concepts.
- Experience creating dashboards/metrics for quality, automation health, and pipeline outcomes.
- Experience testing distributed systems, microservices, and complex integrations.
Location Expectation
This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office. The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 - $125,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
