Sr Software Architect

About the role

Entarian is seeking a Senior Software Architect in Panama City to support the Navy JEXC2 project. This position will provide software engineering and architecture oversight for the JEXC2 software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, and monitor new and existing products against applicable cybersecurity standards, including APLs, Common Criteria, and DON directives.
• Ensure all architectural changes to the supported systems are compliant and demonstrably improve the overall security posture of the JEXC2 Family of Systems (FoS) platforms.
• Provide technical support for DoD cloud initiatives, including cloud hosting and the digital transformation of systems from locally hosted environments to secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Provide developmental and technical support for the JEXC2 FoS; providing inputs into designs, solutions, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field
• 9+ years of experience in software development and integration for military C4I systems, including experience designing and fielding cloud-based solutions in AWS and Azure.
• Experience developing, migrating, and deploying DOD applications to cloud platforms using DevSecOps methodologies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience with continuous development and integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience with tools and infrastructure as code (IaC) frameworks including Cloud-Formation, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, PowerShell, and Terraform.
• Experience developing service catalogs through the use of workflows developed and hosted in tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Zendesk.

Skills

• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with DevSecOps methodologies.
• Experience with IaC frameworks.
• Experience with ITSM solutions for DOD architectures.
• Experience with cloud-based ITSM solutions.
