About the role

As a Sr Advanced Software Architect at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a pivotal role in designing and advancing sophisticated software architectures that drive innovation and excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, robust, and cutting-edge software solutions that meet business and technical requirements. In this role, you will shape architectural strategies, ensure technical quality, and enable the delivery of high-value solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced software architectures that align with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
  • Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software development teams.
  • Participate in architectural reviews, code quality assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

You must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • 6 years of proven experience in software architecture design and development, with a focus on data, analytics, and AI.
  • Knowledge of data analytics design patterns, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies.
  • 6 years of hands-on experience developing data using Gov Cloud, Python, Spark, Databricks, Gemini, or Agentic AI, including experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with asynchronous frameworks such as Python (FastAPI) or Node.js/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with modern tools such as LangGraph and LangChain.
  • Experience building responsive, data-driven user interfaces using modern UI frameworks.

We value:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and C#, Knowledge Graph.
  • Knowledge of vector databases for semantic search, alongside traditional relational databases.
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs from multiple providers.
  • Experience with SDLC processes and Agile methodologies.
  • Expertise in integrating security best practices into software architecture.
  • Track record of delivering complex software architecture projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Analytical skills and a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
