Sr. Service Technician

Role Overview

For Sr. Service Technician, the role involves commissioning and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on SolBank Storage Power Block (SPBs), managing obligations for BESS equipment under Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA’s), providing onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands-on support, overseeing and supervising sub-contractors, assisting in developing standard operating procedures and processes, completing work order documentation, ensuring accuracy of spare parts inventory, performing proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and switching procedures, supporting client training during commissioning, adhering to all health and safety rules and policies, and completing other duties and projects as assigned.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Commission CSI Energy Storage’s SolBank Storage Power Block
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of SPBs to adhere to warranty requirements
• Manage obligations for BESS equipment under LTSA’s, including Energy Storage Cabinets (ESC’s), Power Conversion Stations (PCS), Ring Main Units (RMU’s) / Switchgear, Transformers, SCADA and networking devices
• Provide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands-on support to maintain equipment and meet availability and capacity guarantees
• Oversee and supervise sub-contractors on site when required
• Avoidance of repetitive tasks through delegation and collaboration
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures and processes
• Complete work order documentation in a timely manner
• Ensure accuracy of spare parts inventory
• Perform proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and switching procedures as needed
• Support client training during commissioning
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and policies
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned
