Sr. Scientist - In Vitro ADME & High-Throughput Screening

Job Summary

A Top-Tier Global Pharma Leader is seeking a motivated Senior Scientist, In Vitro ADME to join a fast-paced drug discovery team on site in Emeryville, CA. This 18-month opportunity is ideal for a scientist passionate about generating high-quality data to evaluate and optimize potential therapeutic candidates.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and troubleshoot in vitro ADME assays, including microsomal and hepatocyte stability, permeability, and plasma protein binding.
• Perform LC-MS/MS bioanalytical method development, sample analysis, and assay optimization.
• Analyze, interpret, and report complex metabolism and kinetic data to support candidate progression.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with DMPK, biology, and chemistry teams to deliver decision-enabling results.
• Maintain complete documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks following EHS and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Required: BS or MS in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of hands-on in vitro ADME experience in a biopharmaceutical, pharma, or CRO setting.
• Proven experience with LC-MS/MS-based sample analysis and data tools like GraphPad Prism or Excel. Demonstrated experience executing automated in vitro assays to evaluate drug candidate ADME properties.

Preferred

• Hands-on experience operating Sciex LC-MS/MS instruments.
• Experience with automated liquid handling platforms (Hamilton, Tecan).
