Sr. Scada Analyst

About the role

Serving as the technical lead for the administration and support of the AVEVA PI Historian and its integrations with SCADA and other OT/ICS platforms. Ensuring accurate, secure, and high-quality operational data across a regulated natural gas distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading system design, application functionality, security and recovery planning, integration requirements, vendor evaluations, troubleshooting, change management, testing, deployment, documentation, training, and cross-functional coordination.
• Participation in emergency management planning, on-call support, and continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated and mission-critical environment.

Experience

• 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job responsibilities.
• Industry recognized certification(s) relevant to responsibilities are preferred.

Other Requirements

• Incumbents performing activities requiring government, regulatory or vendor certification must keep those certifications current.
• Strong expertise in SCADA/ICS environments, preferably within natural gas, energy, or other critical infrastructure industries.
• Advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills across SCADA applications, databases, operating systems, and OT communications.
• Ability to support mission-critical 24×7 operational systems in a regulated environment.
• Systems Testing and IT Implementation experience.
• Project Management experience.
• Utilities experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
