Sr. Salesforce Solution Engineer

About the role

Join the Salesforce Solution team of Cat Digital team and be responsible to design, build, and deliver high quality, scalable Salesforce solutions across multi-cloud implementation. This individual will be responsible for owning complex workstreams while collaborating closely with Solution Architects and Lead Engineers. The role spans solution design, development, testing and deployment, with an emphasis on quality, scalability, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Designing, modifying, developing, writing and implementing software programming applications for target system using agile methods.
• Acquiring client requirements; preparing solution designs, integration strategies, data models and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization.
• Developing Proofs of Concept (POCs) for new applications, and/or generating and enhancing solutions for existing applications.
• Design and develop integration solutions with other systems using APIs, middleware and ETL tools.

• Effective Communications: Working Knowledge of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
• Software Product Design/Architecture: Working Knowledge of software product design with focus on scalability and maintainability; ability to convert market requirements into software product design.
• Software Product Technical Knowledge: Extensive Knowledge of technical aspects of Salesforce products and platform capabilities; ability to design, configure and integrate technical aspects of software products.
• Software Development: Extensive Experience with Salesforce development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements.

Qualifications

• Extensive salesforce development experience (typically 8+ years with a Bachelor’s or 5+ year of experience with master’s degree in computer science or related field)
• Experience in designing and implementation of Salesforce solutions using Salesforce Sales, Service and Experience Cloud
• Proven experience in some of the following:
  • Designing, developing, deploying and maintaining software at scale.
  • Developing applications using Salesforce OmniStudio (FlexCards, OmniScripts, Data
