Sr. Salesforce Administrator

About the role

Manage all aspects of user and license administration including new user setup, deactivation, roles, profiles, permission sets, public groups, OWD, and sharing rules
Own Salesforce configuration including Flows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports
Identify and gather requirements, translate them into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
Create and maintain a platform roadmap, define priorities, and liaise with stakeholders
Implement data quality rules and automation to improve overall Salesforce data integrity
Manage sandbox environments, data hygiene, and basic release management including change sets
Proactively system maintenance including security reviews, release updates, and health checks
Provide day-to-day end-user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
Deliver new user onboarding and ongoing training to drive and monitor user adoption
Manage and support integrated applications including Marketing Cloud/Pardot
Work closely with stakeholders and business analysts to document, implement, and optimize system requirements
Maintain accurate technical documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides
Work iteratively within a collaborative Agile team managing tasks and help tickets in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or other technology related field or equivalent years of experience
• 5+ years’ experience with OOP development including Java, Apex, and/or C#
• 5+ years’ experience with designing and implementing REST APIs for distributed applications
• 3+ years’ experience with Salesforce Administration
• Experience and knowledge designing and implementing microservices, with a focus on applying API integration patterns for scale and reuse
• Experience with converting web services from SOAP to RESTful
• Working knowledge of OpenAPI Spec/Swagger
• Experience with API testing automation such as Postman or similar tools
• Ability to write quality unit, functional, and automated tests
• Experience with testing frameworks: JUnit, Selenium, NUnit, etc.
• Experience using API Security concepts (OAUTH 2.0, Throttling, Certificates, Keys, etc.)
• Experience using Zuul Proxy, AWS API Gateway or other API management solutions
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, SQLServer)
• Experience with Test-Driven and Behavior-Driven Development
• Experience with Git as a version control system, in conjunction with solutions such as Bitbucket, GitHub or GitLab
• Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) is desirable
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities

Pay

Compensation range (base pay): $89,828.00-$148,215.00

Schedule

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range. Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
