Sr. Sales Operations Manager, Amazon Ads - Sales Enablement
About the role
Amazon Ads is seeking an innovative, results-oriented professional to design, plan, and execute operational strategy in support of the evolving Amazon Ads business. This person will work closely with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams to create and support initiatives to drive long-term growth for the US LCS advertising business, with the specific needs of the US LCS customer in mind.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain operational infrastructure to support sales teams, establishing foundational processes, systems, and workflows that enable consistent execution across the organization
- Execute day-to-day operational programs including territory planning, pipeline hygiene, and sales reporting to ensure sales teams have the tools and data needed to perform
- Develop and implement programs, tools, and analytics to increase sales productivity, with hands-on ownership of system configuration, data integrity, and process documentation
- Partner with sales leadership to translate business needs into operational requirements, then directly manage the tactical execution and ongoing maintenance of resulting initiatives
- Identify operational gaps impacting sales performance, build mechanisms to close them, implement solutions, and monitor results to ensure sales teams can deliver on targets
- Support ad hoc operational needs and special projects as they arise
Requirements
The ideal candidate is an excellent writer and communicator, a strategic thinker who works effectively with limited direction and is known for exercising impeccable judgment. The ability to think big, execute at a tactical level, and effortlessly collaborate with various disciplines across the organization is critical to be successful in this role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in sales operations or equivalent
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
- 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
