Sr. Sales Compensation Analyst, Advertising Sales Incentive Compensation
Join the Amazon Advertising Sales Incentive Compensation team to drive analytics throughout the Ads incentive compensation program. Our team’s charter is to enable the growth of Amazon Ads through effective sales compensation design, governance, and operations.
About the role
The ideal candidate will be an exceptionally strong analytical thinker who excels in written and verbal communication, data analysis, modeling, and process improvements. They will demonstrate teamwork, relationship building, and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization while thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with ambiguity. The role involves leveraging AI tools to deliver data-driven insights that optimize sales planning, performance targets, and sales compensation for Amazon Ads.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the foundational data and key business drivers for Amazon Ads variable compensation.
- Design and implement a comprehensive reporting and analytical roadmap to derive key decisions.
- Build capabilities for Gen AI to deliver insights into existing data, tools, and workstreams.
- Automate repeated processes around monthly, quarterly, and annual workflows.
- Manage compensation cost controllership: administer in-plan and above-plan incentives (e.g., Quotas, SPIF, MBO).
- Support financial budgeting and forecasting processes across the total portfolio.
- Communicate findings with business leaders, finance, and technical teams to influence decision-making and product enhancements.
- Provide scalable quarterly insights and seller-level trends to deliver actionable recommendations.
- Partner with the finance team to align compensation impact with the financial plan and analyze correlations between SIC payouts and overall financial performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in finance, business management, and sales operations.
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
- Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company.
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, or Salesforce automation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis.

- USA, CA, Culver City: $88,100.00 - $154,100.00 USD annually
- USA, NY, New York: $96,900.00 - $169,500.00 USD annually
- USA, WA, Seattle: $88,100.00 - $154,100.00 USD annually
