Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr Research Associate to support a biotechnology company focused on developing next-generation immune cell therapies through proprietary thymic engineering and pluripotent stem cell technologies. This position is on-site in Cambridge, MA. The Sr Research Associate will execute cell culture, differentiation, molecular biology, and process development activities supporting the advancement of a stem cell-derived cell therapy product from preclinical development toward commercialization. Responsibilities for the Sr Research Associate include: Perform human pluripotent stem cell (hPSC/iPSC) culture, maintenance, differentiation, and characterization experiments to support therapeutic cell development.Execute molecular and cellular biology assays including flow cytometry, RT-qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence analysis.Support cell engineering and genetic modification studies while evaluating cell differentiation, functionality, and process optimization.Analyze experimental data, troubleshoot protocols, contribute to process standardization, and present findings to project teams.Maintain laboratory operations, coordinate compliance and safety activities, manage supplies, and assist in training laboratory personnel. Required Qualifications for theSr Research Associate include: 2+ years of experience in pluripotent stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, cell therapy, molecular biology, or a related biotechnology discipline.Hands-on experience with human pluripotent stem cell culture and differentiation, RT-qPCR, ddPCR, flow cytometry, ELISA, and related molecular biology techniques.Strong analytical, organizational, troubleshooting, communication, and data analysis skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Regenerative Medicine, Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
