About the role
The Senior Requirements SME provides analytical, technical, and administrative support for day-to-day and surge activities related to the Agency's requirements management process at DTRA. This includes identifying, analyzing, adjudicating, and documenting requirements, contributing to the creation and staffing of requirements and related documentation, supporting study elements, adjudicating comments, facilitating document development and coordination across organizations, and determining the implications of changes.
Responsibilities
- Support the Agency process to identify, analyze, adjudicate, and document requirements.
- Create and staff requirements and related documentation.
- Support study elements, adjudicate comments, facilitate document development and coordination across organizations, and determine the implications of changes.
- Receive Combatant Command Requirement and Request Letters and other joint force requirements and requests for analysis.
- Analyze and curate Agency capability force requests (CFR).
- Integrate CFRs that drive Operations, Activities, and Investments for the Agency.
- Coordinate JCIDS actions within DTRA and between DTRA and the Joint Staff J8.
- Supervise junior contractor employees working for the same business entity.
- Communicate accurately and interpret policies and procedures related to requirements.
Requirements
- Masters degree.
- Top Secret clearance with SCI.
- Minimal of 8 years of experience supporting DTRA.
- Knowledge of U.S. Government and international partner efforts to counter and deter WMD and emerging threats.
- Knowledge of DoD Strategic Guidance and associated documents.
- Ability to coordinate and reach consensus with other organizations and directorates.
- Experience supporting major initiatives; requirements generation and capability development, or similar efforts requiring joint military operations expertise.
- Knowledgeable of Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) and other staff action tools.
