For our client, a leader in the Energy & Utilities space, we are seeking a Senior Requirement Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution, working across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical requirements for battery energy storage and Power Conversion Systems aligning with business goals.
- Create cybersecurity requirements and templates to ensure product security.
- Review and validate project-specific requirements for compliance in control systems and Power Conversion Systems.
- Negotiate and develop tailored requirements management strategies for clients and industry needs.
- Track and analyze applicable industry standards to communicate their implications to teams.
- Support solutions for certification testing challenges as they arise.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify compliance vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in design and implementation of compliance standards for products in energy systems and industrial applications.
- Knowledge of UL and IEC requirements; familiarity with NERC-CIP cyber security standards.
- Experience with global regulatory requirements and related documentation.
- Deep understanding of battery-related standards such as IEC62619, UL1973, and NFPA855.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently while collaborating across teams.
- Participation in compliance councils is a plus.

Pay
$100,000 – $130,000 annually.
