About the role
As a Senior Relationship Strategist within PNC's Private Bank organization, you will be based in Columbus, OH. PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
Responsibilities
- Leads client management activities with clients and prospective clients.
- Develops and executes a relationship management plan to acquire and retain clients, ensuring ongoing exceptional client experience.
- Manages a book of business and may assist in developing team members.
- Coordinates with the team to determine action plans through thorough discovery of client needs to deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Consistently reviews needs assessments with clients to identify changes.
- Ensures a strong client commitment and advocacy by delivering proactive and responsive service to meet client goals.
- Holds the team accountable for deliverables.
- Drives growth of the book of business through client expansion and new client acquisition.
- Develops and executes strategies for proactively sourcing new relationships for the bank.
- Owns communication and contact with existing clients to capture expansion opportunities.
- Expands external network for business development.
- Manages risk through appropriate client selection and ensures service delivery aligns with fees charged.
- Works with risk partners to escalate and resolve client concerns quickly.
- Makes business-appropriate introductions using well-developed knowledge of partner offerings.
- Ensures follow-up and client communication after initial introductions to partners.
- Maintains timely, accurate, and complete sales/client relationship management administration tasks.
- Ensures execution of team processes, such as pre-call planning, post-call debriefs, and relationship reviews.
- May train, coach, and/or mentor other team members.
- May participate in special projects to strengthen the overall business.

Qualifications
- Typically requires a university/college degree; higher-level education such as a Master's degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.
- Industry-relevant experience of 8+ years is typically required.
- Specific certifications are often required.
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Pay
Base Salary: $133,000.00 – $247,000.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
