Sr. Relationship Manager (Retirement & Wealth)
Job Summary & Responsibilities
This role is responsible for managing client relationships and working closely with record keepers, plan sponsors, third party administrators and other channel partners as assigned. The RM will also work closely with the grandfathered accounts, when applicable, and the Sales Managers within their assigned territories to on-board new clients while maintaining and identifying areas of opportunity to retain and grow client relationships.
The RM will manage our existing institutional relationships, create strategic plans to expand relationships, complete special projects, create client communications, coordinate the on-boarding of new large relationships, and work closely with Client Service, Operations, Legal and Technology.
The ideal incumbent will have extensive experience in the financial services industry with a strong working knowledge of investment advisors, sponsors, and alternative assets.

- Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or related field

- Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in the retirement plan industry and knowledge of IRAs as well as other retirement products and services.
- Proven ability to up-sell and develop new business.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; positive attitude; ability to work as team member.
- Self-starter with strong planning, organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrate proactive, problem-solving, decision-making and client contact skills.
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM tool.
- Previous experience with alternative investments, advisors, and retirement accounts.
- Proven ability to up-sell and develop new business.
- Proven ability to position product and services to develop new business.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong planning, organizational and analytic abilities combined with task and time management skills.
- Ability to serve as a liaison between various individuals at all levels of the business both internally and externally.
- Demonstrate proactive, problem-solving, decision-making and client contact skills.
- Strong computer aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft suite of products.
Pay Range
$102,000-$115,000 per year (OTE ~$125,460 +)
