Overview

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service per Coastal's Core Values.
- Interview and assess customer and non-customer needs and suggest appropriate products or services.
- Communicate with customers in the branch, over the phone, or during personal visits to local businesses.
- Outside sales calling is required and determined by Bank Center Management.
- Conduct phone follow-up and actively raise customer awareness of bank products and services. These activities may have a standard of frequency set by Bank Center Management.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking and following up on customer needs and track monthly production to the branch goals.
- Provide customer referrals to Treasury Management, Commercial, and Consumer Lending, Cash Management, and Real Estate Lending.
- Provide timely resolution and follow through on customer issues and concerns.
- Complete required account documentation according to bank guidelines.
- Maintain current knowledge of banking rules and regulations and complete monthly online training.
- Actively work with a book of customers to build relationships, grow the book's value to meet goals, and keep a firm grasp on the retention of our clients. May also include relationship reviews with a line of business.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Follow and comply with all regulatory and compliance regulations.
Qualifications
- Outgoing, professional attitude with customers, prospects, and co-workers.
- Handle multiple tasks at the same time.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Education/Experience
- A. A. or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred;
- Two to four years’ related experience and/or training;
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PC experience navigating in a Windows environment and using various applications.
- Basic internet skills.
- Prior experience selling financial products.
- Prior experience growing and developing an existing customer base.
