Sr Reimbursement Analyst
Work Schedule
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm EST
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced analysis of complex payer portfolios to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Interpret payer contracts and reimbursement methodologies to ensure accurate payment application
- Develop and recommend strategies to reduce denials, non-response, and revenue leakage
- Lead initiatives to address systemic reimbursement issues and drive process improvements
- Analyze financial performance and prepare detailed reporting for leadership decision-making
- Monitor KPIs related to A/R, reimbursement trends, and payer compliance
- Serve as a key contact for escalated payer issues and support contract-related discussions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Compliance, Operations, and Payor Relations
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, providing training on complex scenarios and best practices
- Support automation, reporting enhancements, and process optimization efforts
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 7 years’ healthcare revenue cycle experience or Associate degree with 9 years healthcare revenue cycle experience or HS diploma or GED with 11 years healthcare revenue cycle experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years experience with payer contracts and regulatory compliance.
- 7 + years of experience in healthcare reimbursement, revenue cycle, or financial analysis
- 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare reimbursement, revenue cycle, or financial analysis
- 7+ previous experience with data analytics

Pay Range
Pay Range: $60-75K

REMOTENote: Applicants who live within 35 miles of either the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location will follow a hybrid schedule. This schedule includes a minimum of three in office days per week at an assigned location, either Burlington or Durham, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
