Sr Radiology Tech-Multi-Modality

About the role

This position prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following standards and protocols set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The technologist will be multi-modality trained and/or certified in diagnostics or DEXA and one additional modality to include CT, MR, US, or Mammo.

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics.
• Conducts routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment; maintains proficiency in each of these areas.
• Provides radiation safety for operator and patient.
• Places patient in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine.
• As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in performing job duties.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved accredited radiography program.
• Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
• Certification in diagnostics or DEXA and one additional modality (CT, MR, US, or Mammo).

Schedule

Day shift, 36 scheduled weekly hours.
