Sr Radiology Technologist - Multi Modality Acute

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and family members about the nature of the examination and related procedures.
• Prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following standards and protocols set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Performs routine radiographic studies in diagnostics and conducts routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment.
• Maintains proficiency in conducting these procedures and ensures radiation safety for both the operator and patient.
• Places patients in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved accredited radiography program.
• Registered with ARRT.
• Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.

Qualifications

• Multi-modality trained or certified in diagnostics and/or able to be trained in computed tomography (CT).

• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits

• $15,000 Sign-On Bonus with a one-year work commitment for external applicants and newly licensed internal applicants.
