Responsibilities
- Counsels patients and family members about the nature of the examination and related procedures.
- Prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following standards and protocols set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Performs routine radiographic studies in diagnostics and conducts routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment.
- Maintains proficiency in conducting these procedures and ensures radiation safety for both the operator and patient.
- Places patients in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved accredited radiography program.
- Registered with ARRT.
- Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
Qualifications
- Multi-modality trained or certified in diagnostics and/or able to be trained in computed tomography (CT).
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits
- $15,000 Sign-On Bonus with a one-year work commitment for external applicants and newly licensed internal applicants.
Pay
- Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
