Sr. Project Manager - Water
About the role
The Sr. Project Manager will lead Water Business Line planning, modeling, and design projects for Garver's clients in Texas, focusing on distribution and collection systems.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients to ensure quality deliverables are met efficiently
- Communicate effectively with internal and external clients one-on-one, in groups, or in presentations
- Steer a team of junior project engineers and CAD technicians to meet design, budget, and project requirements
- Gain marketing and project management experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, biological, or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- 6 or more years of related water/wastewater design experience
- Familiarity with ODEQ regulations
- Strong communications skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
Preferred Skills
- WaterCAD, SewerCAD, or Civil3D experience
- Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering
- Design/build experience
