About The Role
We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with deep expertise in Data Center Commissioning Management. As the regional point of contact, you’ll oversee dedicated project teams, partner with regional leadership, and influence process improvement as we scale our operations.
Responsibilities
- Commissioning & Project Leadership (40%)
- Take charge of complex data center commissioning projects, ensuring strict adherence to process and quality standards.
- Manage all aspects of the commissioning program, from testing coordination to vendor management and script approvals.
- Lead client interactions, chair key meetings, and handle account management responsibilities.
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle—budgeting, QA/QC, invoicing, and more.
- Operational Coordination & Team Management (25%)
- Mentor, support, and lead project team members, engineers, and sub-consultants.
- Streamline schedules, milestones, and resource allocation across the region.
- Champion standardized processes and cross-regional collaboration.
- Guide onboarding for new hires and uphold documentation best practices.
- Knowledge Management & Documentation (25%)
- Capture and document financial processes, proposal strategies, change controls, and best practices from leadership.
- Record lessons learned, project challenges, and innovative solutions using standardized templates and platforms.
- Monitor and maintain documentation repositories, ensuring timely action and closure.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement (10%)
- Track and present operational metrics and monthly progress.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose actionable improvements.
- Contribute to quarterly reviews and enhance organizational knowledge capture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, Operations, Project Management, or related field—or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in project management, operations, or coordinating within the data center sector, including commissioning experience.
- Proven track record managing project teams in technical environments and documenting processes.
- Strong English communication skills—both written and verbal, with confidence presenting to managers and clients.
- Mastery of Levels 1–5 commissioning and advanced problem-solving with figures and operational metrics.
- Proficiency with project management tools (Smartsheet, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, SharePoint).
- Ability to multitask, resolve complex issues, and take initiative.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification or equivalent.
- Experience in consulting/professional service environments.
- Additional Microsoft (MSFT) expertise.
