Sr. Project Manager, Dams
GFT is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Geotechnical Dams & Hydraulics Group in Philadelphia, PA or Marlton, NJ. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at one of our offices.

Responsibilities
- Serve in a leading role on multi-disciplinary water resource projects through managing day-to-day project activities on a variety of water resource projects
- Determine client requirements and develop suitable scopes of work, schedules, and budgets to achieve project objectives
- Maintain adherence to the scope and schedule of a project
- Manage projects and a group of professionals
- Routinely meet with clients and attend public-facing meetings
- Collaborate with clients, construction personnel, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement appropriate designs and project solutions
- Review contractor submittals, evaluate the need for design changes, and provide appropriate recommendations
- Travel up to 30% to GFT offices, client locations, or project sites, which may include overnight stays
- Prepare high-quality reports, drawings, and specifications to meet scope, schedule, cost, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 10-15 years of work experience as a geotechnical or water resource engineer with direct experience in water resource engineering
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles, concepts, and practices applied to water resource projects
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in standard office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in geotechnical or hydraulics
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D
Pay
The salary range for this role is $138,000 - $177,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.

Schedule
Core business hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. This is a full-time position.
