Sr. Project Manager, Consulting Services

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex technology projects from initiation to successful completion, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives.
• Provide clear direction to team members, internal and external.
• Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Develop and execute project strategies that maximize value and drive innovation, drawing from extensive Big Four experience.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing solutions to project challenges.
• Maintain transparent and effective communication with all project stakeholders, both internal and external, through regular meetings, presentations, and reports.
• Provide insightful updates on project progress and performance.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients to understand their business challenges and provide strategic solutions.
• Develop and implement project governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Oversee and identify project risks and drive issue resolution to minimize disruptions to project success.
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Set clear expectations and standards for project delivery, ensuring adherence to best practices and methodologies.
• Document and provide performance feedback and contribute to team members' professional growth.
• Establish and maintain quality control processes, and implement improvements as needed, to ensure the delivery of high-quality technology solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
• Conduct thorough reviews and testing to ensure the integrity and functionality of deliverables.
• Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and make data-driven decisions to optimize resource allocation and ensure financial objectives are met.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of project management methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree is a plus.
• Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager in the technology sector, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in technology project management, with at least 5 - 8 years of experience at one of the Big 4 consulting firms.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities; strong decision-making abilities.
