Role Summary

This technical project management role involves overseeing multiple large-scale, complex projects within the federal sector. The position requires managing diverse work streams, ensuring project milestones are met, and maintaining strong stakeholder communication. It demands a strategic and detail-oriented approach to deliver successful project outcomes while aligning with organizational and customer goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations and tactical activities across multiple complex projects with multiple work streams.
  • Develop detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) with clear interdependencies and critical paths.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of all project phases and milestones.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build and sustain strong relationships, prioritizing excellent customer service.
  • Create and maintain resource plans for optimal resource allocation and distribution across projects.
  • Track and report on project financials, including profitability, revenue, margins, and utilization, ensuring projects stay within budget.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and scope changes to minimize impact on delivery.
  • Utilize project management tools and techniques to enhance execution efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders through well-structured reports and presentations.
  • Lead stakeholder analysis and engagement strategies to facilitate transparent and effective communication at all management levels.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a proven track record supporting external customer-facing projects, preferably in professional or managed services environments.
  • Experience managing projects for global financial clients, with knowledge of networking, storage, virtualization, cloud, security, or collaboration solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in multisite deployment projects such as wireless, Wi-Fi, or POS systems.
  • PMP and/or CAPM certification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, financial processes, and reporting tools like Clarity.
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and communicate effectively with diverse teams and clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools.

Publishing Pay Range

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location. Pay Range: $60.00 – $69.00 hourly
