Sr. Project Engineer - Heavy Civil Engineering

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Coordination: Understanding our client's needs and the scope of the project
• Scheduling: Weekly resource scheduling, 3 Week Look Ahead, and CPMSchedule and coordinate with Foreman, Superintendents, and subcontractors
• Pre-costing activities of work
• Financial Management: Manage the cost report, accounts receivable, and accounts payable of assigned projects
• Safety Management: Conduct site safety surveys to evaluate safety program implementationMonitor subcontractor safety performance to ensure compliance with DGC Safety ProgramImplement and enforce company and client safety policies

Requirements

• Preferred Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or equivalent, relevant industry experience4-7 years Heavy civil experience (grading, paving, earthwork):Experience with both Public and Private construction is a plusAble to read and understand Plans and SpecificationsKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to learn new programsStrong written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate with internal and external personnel of all levelsExperience coordinating work with subcontractors
