About the role
We are seeking a Senior Civil Project Engineer to join our team. This role involves technical design, oversight, and review of project engineering work in support of our transmission line projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in linear project development and will ensure that all deliverables are customer-focused and performance-driven.
Responsibilities
- Use expertise in linear project development to ensure deliverables are customer focused and performance driven.
- Design or oversee the development of design documents to ensure compliance with ATC’s design engineering guides, standards, and good utility practices.
- Create or coordinate reviews of project estimates for cost and scope accuracy and provide technical input to obtain services from external consultants.
- Support the construction department during the construction phase of projects by resolving technical and engineering problems.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure engineering activities are customer focused, results oriented, and performance driven.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Experience in technical design and project management.
- Strong knowledge of utility practices and engineering guides.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of industry-standard engineering software.

Pay
The targeted base pay for this position is $119,500 to $139,400 annually.
