Key Responsibilities
- Maintain document control processes, procedures, and standards for all project documentation.
- Manage the receipt, distribution, tracking, and storage of construction documents including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, addenda, ASIs, and close-out materials.
- Lead, maintain, and optimize Bluebeam Revu document workflows including Studio Sessions, version comparison, markup standards, and collaborative review processes.
- Create and manage Bluebeam tool sets, profiles, and document templates for consistent team usage.
- Ensure document accuracy by performing quality checks for file naming, metadata completeness, version control, and revision history.
- Cookordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, architects, and owners to ensure documents are distributed accurately and on time.
- Track and expedite submittals, RFIs, drawing reviews, and other document-related workflows.
- Maintain document logs, transmittals, and audit trails for compliance and reporting needs.
- Support digital transformation efforts by training staff in Bluebeam and other construction document management tools.
- Assist in project close-out activities including compiling O&M manuals, as-builts, warranties, and turnover packages.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in construction document control, project administration, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Bluebeam Revu including Studio Sessions, batch tools, markup management, and digital workflow configuration.
- Strong understanding of construction documents, terminology, and project delivery methods.
- Experience with additional document management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with diverse project stakeholders.
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with construction workflows such as submittal review cycles, RFIs, and drawing lifecycle management.
- Bluebeam certifications such as Bluebeam Certified User or Power User are highly preferred.
