Sr Project Engineer
About the role
withcontaining that prose. Next: "Responsibilities" heading then list bullet points: - Lead Integrated Product Team (IPT) planning and execution for complex missile subsystem development and integration activities. - Coordinate cross-functional engineering efforts spanning seeker, datalink, flight computer, GNC, and HWIL teams to ensure synchronized development schedules. - Drive alignment between subsystem roadmaps and overall system-level development milestones. - Oversee technical integration of key missile subsystems, ensuring interface compatibility and end-to-end functional performance. - Review and validate subsystem engineering artifacts including ICDs, performance models, simulation results, and HWIL test plans. - Provide technical leadership in resolving multi-disciplinary issues related to seeker performance, datalink communication, flight computing, GNC modeling, and embedded software. We'll put
Responsibilities
- ... etc.
Next: "Qualifications" appears twice: "You Must Have" and "Qualifications We Prefer". We need to combine? The instruction: Use headings for Requirements, Qualifications, Skills. We have both mandatory and preferred qualifications. Could put under
Qualifications
with two sub-sections? But we must not create extra headings beyond allowed? We can still usefor prose and
- for lists. We could have a
Qualifications
then afor "You Must Have:" then a
- list, then another
for "Qualifications We Prefer:" then another
- . That's fine.
But also there is "Essential Functions" which could be considered Requirements or maybe Skills? It includes occasional travel, ability to work primarily in office/hybrid, lift up to 10 pounds, prolonged computer work, hand/finger dexterity, capability to work in potentially hazardous environments. That seems like job requirements/essential functions. Could put under
Requirements
as a list. Also there is "This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days..." that's boilerplate/application instruction, should be removed. "Estimated Starting Salary Range: $189,761.74 - $260,922.39. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position. SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more." We have Pay and Benefits sections. Pay: we have salary range. Should we include Pay section? Yes, because posting states salary range. Benefits: we have list of benefits. So includePay
withcontaining salary range and note about variation.
Benefits
with- list.
Schedule: Not mentioned explicitly. There's no schedule info (like full-time, shift). So we should not create Schedule section.
Skills: Could be derived from qualifications but we already have Qualifications. Could we create Skills section? The posting mentions skills like "advanced knowledge of engineering principles", "experience working in multi-disciplinary design", etc. But those are qualifications. We could put skills under Qualifications. The instruction: Use headings for Skills if there is real specific content. Might be redundant. Better to not create Skills if we already covered under Qualifications. But we could still create Skills if we want to separate. However we must not create thin sections. Probably better to keep Qualifications covering both mandatory and preferred, and not create Skills.
Thus sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Qualifications, Requirements (Essential Functions), Pay, Benefits.
Check if any other content: "Important Notice This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use. Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances."
That's also a requirement (security clearance). Should be included under Requirements or Qualifications? It's a requirement. Could add to Requirements list.
Also "SNC is a global leader..." etc is boilerplate about company, maybe part of About the role? Already included some. Could add more but it's somewhat promotional. Might be considered boilerplate but it's substantive about company mission. The instruction: Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The "SNC is a global leader..." is not EEO; it's company description. Could keep as part of About the role.
But we already have About the role paragraph; we could add another paragraph about SNC mission. However we must preserve ALL substantive information. So we should include that too.
Thus About the role could have two paragraphs: first about role, second about company.
Let's extract that paragraph: "SNC is a global leader in aerospace and national security committed to moving the American Dream forward. We’re known and respected for our mission and execution focus, agility, and disruptive and rapid innovation. We provide leading edge technologies and transformative solutions that support our nation’s most critical security needs. If you are mission-focused, thrive in collaborative environments, and want to make our country stronger with state-of-the-art technologies that safeguard freedom, join our team! SNC is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to an environment free of discrimination. Employment decisions are made based on merit without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran or other characteristics protected by law."
The EEO statement is boilerplate (equal-opportunity) and should be removed per instruction: Remove EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. So we must remove the EEO statement. The rest about mission etc is okay.
Thus About the role: combine first paragraph (role description) and second paragraph (SNC mission) minus EEO line.
Now Requirements: include Essential Functions list plus security clearance notice.
Essential Functions list:
- Occasional travel to customer or field locations may be required.
- Ability to work primarily in an office or hybrid environment.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
- Prolonged periods of working on a computer.
- Hand and finger dexterity for computer use.
- Capability to work in potentially hazardous environments when visiting project sites.
Add security clearance requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship status is required (as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment).
- Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
- The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF) handles adjudicative aspects of security clearance eligibility.
- Adjudicative factors include allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations, illegal drug use.
We could combine into a list.
Now Qualifications: We have "You Must Have" list and "Qualifications We Prefer" list.
Let's extract You Must Have:

- Background in seeker algorithms, sensor fusion, datalink performance analysis, or embedded flight computing architectures in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
We'll put these as two lists under Qualifications heading, with preceding paragraphs indicating "You Must Have:" and "Qualifications We Prefer:".
Now Pay: Provide salary range and note about variation and incentive pay.
Benefits: list: medical, dental, vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
We should not include "SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position." That's part of Pay.
Now ensure we don't include any boilerplate like "This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days..." etc.
Now output HTML fragment.
We
- for lists. We could have a
