Sr Project Architect (Healthcare Experience)

Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Ensures the overall design intent of the project is incorporated into detailed documentation.
  • Technical Resolution: Resolves and coordinates technical issues within a defined portion of the project.
  • Communication: Communicates with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure all information is incorporated into project requirements.
  • Supervision: Supervises the preparation of technical drawings by less experienced staff.
  • Client Interface: Regularly communicates with client representatives to verify design requirements and specifications, progress reviews, and delivery of final presentations.
  • Teamwork: Coordinates with the project leadership team, assists in planning and conducting work, and attends on-site visits and project meetings.
  • Business Development: Participates in business development meetings to target project, client, or market opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Architect with current registration in your region required, if licensure is offered in your region.
  • NCARB registration preferred.
  • LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years’ design experience.

Skills

  • Knowledge of relevant software and tools used in architectural design.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in BIM and other modeling software.
  • Experience with construction phase services.

Pay

The reasonably expected annual salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000.
