Responsibilities
- Accountable for project financial performance and team communication
- Issuance and content of deliverables, technical content of HOK documents and coordination of disciplines including consultants and supervision of all staff producing documents
- Implementation of Construction Phase Services in collaboration with the PM
- Securing QA reviews and implementation of comments
- A licensed architect responsible for signing/sealing drawings
- An active participant and contributor to a culture of technical excellence
- Leadership: Ensures the overall design intent of the project is incorporated into detailed documentation, monitors the design process, resolves technical issues, and sets the strategy for document production.
- Client Interface: Develops a positive relationship of trust with client leadership, communicates design requirements and specifications, and coordinates with municipal building departments and other governing agencies.
- Teamwork: Receives project direction, coordinates project team, assists in planning and conducting work, prepares meeting minutes, and participates in team meetings to resolve project issues.
- Business Development: Participates in business development meetings targeting project, client, or market opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience required
- Master’s degree preferred
- 20+ years’ design experience, including multiple large-scale healthcare projects in the US
- Licensed Architect with current registration in your region required
- NCARB registration preferred
- LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare design
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in relevant software

Pay
The reasonably expected range for this position is $160,000 to $180,000. Other compensation may include a discretionary bonus.
