Responsibilities

• Understand, apply, and support teammates in understanding One10 project accounting processes and practices
• Strong financial review of PnL balances to propose project journal entries to manage the project’s funds
• Perform month-end close activities, reviewing project working capital summaries, project Profit & Loss/Balance Sheet statements, and Percent of Completion schedules
• Prepare other ad hoc reports and analysis as assigned
• Monitor and provide recommended improvements of the revenue accounting function through review of processes and procedures and implementation of process improvements
• Provide support and recommended improvements to account management questions related to client billing
• Contribute and provide process improvements to revenue and deferred revenue analyses
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Participate in cross training
• Execute responsibilities in month-end close process, and recommend processes to improve the close cycle time
• Own project financials through close-out and month-end close processes with a high level of ownership, accuracy, and accountability
• Proactively identify and address potential accounting errors/risks on an ongoing basis
• Effectively work with people, creating teamwork, taking charge, generating enthusiasm

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• 5-10 years of comprehensive experience in project accounting
• CPA (active or inactive) preferred
• Strong MS Excel skills (pivots, v/h-lookups, etc.)
• Financial expertise in POC billing and GAAP ASC606 revenue recognition
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and analytic problem-solving skills
• Strong organization and time management skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Experience with NetSuite preferred, as well as experience with project management applications/systems
• Experience with efficient processes and the use of technology; accuracy is essential
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership for projects and drive to completion
• Takes initiative and is resourceful when problem-solving
• Ability to prioritize and manage competing requests while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
• Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments

Pay

Maximum Base Pay: 80,000.00 USD
