Sr Program Specialist
About the role
As a Sr Program Specialist at Honeywell, you will serve as the operational backbone for building technology projects, including Building Management Systems, HVAC Controls, Security, CCTV, and Life Safety Systems. You will navigate the full project lifecycle—from pre‑sales and development through delivery and close‑out—supporting ongoing customer and product initiatives. The position reports to the Sr Program Manager and is based in Morrisville, NC with a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Manage project charters, risk plans, schedules, and financial targets to ensure successful delivery.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Review contracts and estimates for compliance and accuracy.
- Monitor program performance, budgeting, and cost controls, providing regular updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Perform financial forecasting, working‑capital control, and deliver the committed P&L.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience in building automation systems, data centers, or construction, with a focus on estimation, project execution, and budgeting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
- Experience managing cross‑functional teams and projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience managing complex programs in a corporate environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- PMP certification or state‑level licenses.
- Detail‑oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
