Sr. Program Manager DA Eligibility, Worldwide DSP Performance
Amazon is seeking a strategic, analytical, and influential Sr. Program Manager to lead the global eligibility and screenings program, including background checks, drug testing, and alternative screening methodologies. This role owns policy creation, programmatic changes, and technology enhancements for Delivery Associate (DA) screenings and eligibility, requiring strong leadership to drive cross-functional alignment and business impact.
About the role
The Sr. Program Manager defines and implements screening and eligibility policies, programs, and mechanisms in a complex, ambiguous environment. This position demands exceptional business judgment, analytical abilities, and communication skills to influence senior leaders and deliver scalable, tech-driven solutions. The role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, from requirements gathering to UAT coordination and end-user training, while bridging gaps across teams to prevent project pitfalls.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Develop and refine program strategies, communicating them effectively to drive stakeholder engagement and action.
- Set clear program objectives, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.
- Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios using creative problem-solving skills.
- Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize resource allocation and project success.
- Evaluate and prioritize projects based on customer needs and technical team inputs.
- Bridge gaps in team dynamics, processes, and systems to prevent common project pitfalls.
- Identify and mitigate risks to prevent escalation into major issues.
- Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and stakeholders to support key initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and oversee KPI reporting for multiple program portfolios, ensuring visibility of milestones and performance.
- Manage and communicate project budgets effectively.
- Address escalations in a timely manner.
Requirements
- 5+ years of program or project management experience.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel (e.g., pivot tables, charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas).
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience.
- Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or a related field.
- Knowledge of general AI tools.
Pay
- USA, TN, Nashville: $104,100.00 - $155,400.00 USD annually
- USA, WA, Bellevue: $115,600.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually
