Full-time

About the role

Based in our Sidney, Ohio location, you will lead high-impact, cross-functional programs supporting our Cold Chain business. You will combine hands-on delivery leadership with a broader view of dependencies, operational readiness and business outcomes, working with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and other stakeholders to guide assigned initiatives through development, launch and transition to ongoing operations. As the team expands its program‑management approach, you will operate with a high degree of independence, help establish practical ways to coordinate related initiatives, track intended benefits and improve execution, while providing leadership across teams, mentoring project and program management colleagues, and strengthening how we work while remaining actively engaged in delivering today’s commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integrated plans covering scope, schedule, resources, costs and milestones; drive accountability, resolve issues and lead recovery planning when commitments are at risk.
  • Identify and manage cross‑project dependencies, shared risks and resource constraints; develop recommendations that balance delivery commitments with broader business objectives.
  • Lead execution reviews and gate preparation, maintain clear baselines, and assess proposed changes with transparent impacts and decision options.
  • Coordinate development, manufacturing, supply chain, commercial and support readiness; partner with business owners to define, track and review intended benefits.
  • Independently synthesize program health, risks, financial and operational trade‑offs, and required decisions into clear recommendations; influence senior leaders and cross‑functional teams without relying on direct authority.
  • Partner with the Director of Program Management and enterprise PMO to improve standard work, share lessons learned, mentor project and program management colleagues, and lead practical process and technology improvements across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Significant demonstrated experience independently leading complex, cross‑functional programs or multiple related product development, engineering or manufacturing initiatives toward shared business outcomes.
  • Strong command of integrated planning, scope and schedule management, risk management, change control and execution governance.
  • Ability to connect delivery decisions with business objectives, financial implications and operational readiness.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, resolve competing priorities, facilitate consequential decisions and communicate clear, executive‑level recommendations.
  • Proficiency with project/program management systems and business reporting tools, with demonstrated ability to improve governance, reporting and decision‑making practices.
  • Ability to travel (approximately 10%) and collaborate across locations and time zones as business needs require.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Business or a related field (preferred).
  • PMP, PgMP or another relevant project/program management certification (preferred).
  • Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, compression, controls or related industrial products (preferred).
  • Experience with benefits realization, business‑case tracking, global initiatives and post‑launch reviews (preferred).
  • Experience using Cora or comparable project and portfolio management platforms (preferred).
  • Experience applying artificial intelligence to improve business processes, reporting, analysis or project/program management workflows, with appropriate human review and protection of company information (preferred).

Benefits

  • Medical insurance plans.
  • Dental and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) plan.
  • Flexible time off plans, including paid parental leave, vacation and holiday leave.

Schedule

Hybrid‑eligible role with the requirement to be in the office at least three days per week; colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration‑first mindset and adjust hybrid days based on business needs.
