About the role
The Sr. Program Manager, Professional Services will oversee long and short-term strategic and tactical planning, as well as day-to-day activities supporting the assigned verticals.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and management to personnel and programs supporting the assigned verticals.
- Monitor and direct teams to meet and exceed revenue growth targets through knowledge of clients' contracting processes, budget cycles, and decision-making processes.
- Oversee client communications to ensure regular, active contact with active and prospective clients (e.g., new product rollouts, innovation/product roadmaps, upgrades, events/activities, etc.).
- Oversee and manage technical and programmatic resources, spend plans, and program execution for project engagements to ensure Contiem meets client expectations and contractual obligations.
- Track and report on monthly revenue forecasts and actuals within assigned verticals, including committed and uncommitted contract actions.
- Handle client escalations with professional maturity and a solutions-based approach.
- Work with Sales to respond to Sales queries, proposals, and new client opportunities. This may include assisting with developing proposals or playing an active role in the sales process.
Requirements
- US citizenship.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field of study from an accredited college or university.
- 12+ years of experience in client service, account management, or enterprise-level content management software and solution sales.
- Ability to lead in a matrix management environment with a proven ability to collaborate on projects with a mix of remote and centrally located team members across different time zones.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, specifically PowerPoint, and spreadsheet applications such as Excel, including pivot tables and charting.
- Experience developing, implementing, and determining the business impact of various approaches, including revenue forecasting, to ensure they are measured, optimized, and aligned with targets.
Skills
- Knowledge of XML technologies.
- Experience working with enterprise-type software applications, including their installation and ongoing support.
- Knowledge of content management software, structured content, and/or content solutions.
- Knowledge and use of project management and issue-tracking software, such as Jira.

Pay
Compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, geographic location, and other relevant factors.
Schedule
This is a full-time, exempt position. In-office is preferred (Annapolis, MD); remote is acceptable.
