About the role
The Senior Program Coordinator reports to the Division Director and works closely with the Senior Program Coordinator overseeing Addiction Recovery Services at the Freehold location. This role provides clinical, administrative, and operational leadership for outpatient mental health services.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision to assigned staff.
- Support the day-to-day operation of the program, especially in crisis or demanding situations.
- Monitor productivity, complete clinical chart reviews, provide supervision on how to document and support staff in maintaining quality charting, and meet or exceed key performance indicators/outcomes.
- Avoid gaps in care by ensuring your team meets productivity and financial objectives through effective monitoring and coaching.
- Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision and retention efforts.
- Participate in performance management activities, including evaluations, keeping clinical supervision records, and corrective action, when needed.
- Coordinate workflows and oversee processes especially for high-risk clients.
- Work closely with case managers, peers, and other team members on clients' social determinants of health (SODH) issues.
- Support and model a servant leadership style approach to working with staff.
- Support an integrated whole-health approach to the care of all clients in treatment at CPC.
- Aid in the use of technology, such as artificial intelligence and other innovations, as well as process improvement initiatives in your work at CPC.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, collaboration, inclusivity, psychological safety, and excellent customer service.
- Maintain a caseload equivalent to approximately 40% of a full-time clinician's productivity expectations.
- Provide emergency coverage as a member of the management team on a rotating basis.
- Communicate directly and effectively with staff and clients.
- Be open to learning new skills and keep up to date on emerging clinical practices.
- Represent CPC at meetings, in work groups, at events in the community, or at institutions CPC works closely with.
Qualifications
- LCSW or LPC with 5+ years of experience working with clients with significant mental health and/or co-occurring disorders, including 2 years of administrative and clinical supervision experience.
- Experience with quality management activities such as record reviews.
- Ability to supervise staff in the practice of evidence-based treatment approaches, utilizing a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed approach to care.
- Good sense of humor.
