Sr Program and Policy Specialist
The Program Specialist will work to strengthen medical care for children with suspected abuse and neglect throughout the State of Maryland. The Maryland CHAMP program has established a statewide network of health care professionals with expertise to address the diagnosis and treatment of child abuse and neglect among Maryland children. The Program Specialist will serve as an integral part of that team and driver of the program objectives. CHAMP provides training on medical aspects of child abuse and neglect to healthcare professionals, Child Advocacy Centers, and professionals participating in the multidisciplinary investigation of and service to children with suspected maltreatment.
Responsibilities
- Strengthen medical care for children with suspected abuse and neglect across Maryland.
- Serve as an integral part of the CHAMP team and drive program objectives.
- Provide training on medical aspects of child abuse and neglect to healthcare professionals, Child Advocacy Centers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.

Pay
$29.86 to $44.79 per hour, based on experience.
