About the role
The role is responsible for managing the company's supply chain operations, ensuring efficient logistics and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability of products/services.
- Coordinate with internal departments to optimize inventory management and reduce waste.
- Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and implement sustainable practices.
- Manage vendor performance reviews and negotiate contracts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management.
- Proven track record in managing complex supply chains.
- Strong understanding of international trade laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with supply chain software tools such as SAP or Oracle SCM.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
