Sr Product Manager - Upstream Software, ION
About the role

You'll work with a team of engineers, clinicians, and innovators to develop next-generation software products, understand market landscapes, and drive product roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Develop next generation software product roadmap across multiple product franchises in the Ion business units
- Understand and engage with physician key opinion leaders to gather insights and inform the product roadmap
- Conduct market landscape analysis and voice of customer research to identify customer needs and competitive trends
- Collaborate with product franchise leads to develop and prioritize software product investigations, features, and product requirements
- Own and scope the end-to-end software experience for users across next generation product franchises and global geographies
- Drive desirability, feasibility, and viability assessments of next generation software product features to prioritize the product portfolio
- Partner with engineering and business development teams to assess new technologies and prioritize the new business development software pipeline
- Work with regional teams to ensure product features align with user needs across geographies
Qualifications
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects and teams
- Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives
- Relationship building skills with proven ability to work across disparate parts of an organization
- Self-starter with ability to lead in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market dynamics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to senior management and customers
- Experience working in surgical labs and hospital patient care areas
- Experience leading development of multiple software product lines in a regulated environment
- Experience in medical software, capital equipment, medical devices, digital health, robotics, or regulated product development
Required Education and Training
- A Bachelor's (BS/BSE) in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field
- At least 5 years of professional experience with at least 2 years in medical device product management, program management, project management, product marketing, or a similar discipline
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Masters degree in life science, engineering, or business discipline
- Experience leading development of multiple software product lines in a regulated environment
- Experience in medical software, capital equipment, medical devices, digital health, robotics, or regulated product development
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: medical software, capital equipment, medical devices, digital health, robotics, regulated product development
