Sr. Product Manager, Technical, Air Optimization Technology

About the role

We build all the science and technology products, models, and software for Amazon Air. We're looking for an entrepreneurial, independent, results-oriented, data-driven, invent and simplify-loving Senior Product Manager - Technical.

Responsibilities

• Create the multi-year vision for air operations execution technical products that will power Amazon Air’s growth.
• Define features for the products, understand customer needs and values, and work with product development teams to drive the creation of features and deliverables.
• Engage with stakeholders, research scientists, software development teams, and operations teams and our air/ground partners to derive requirements and come up with product vision and roadmap.
• Define key product modules and associated technical architecture across internally-developed software and science, existing Amazon and fulfillment systems, and 3P software and hardware to create an innovative aviation-tech platform fully integrated with Amazon Fulfillment systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
