Sr. Product Manager - Tech, Viewer Experience, Prime Video Global App Experience

About the Role

Prime Video is a leading entertainment platform offering a vast collection of premium content across thousands of devices. As a technologist in Prime Video, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology, delivering innovative and world-class experiences for millions of customers worldwide. You’ll work on fast-paced, challenging projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and shape the future of digital video entertainment.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of Prime Video customers and their viewing experiences.
• Run voice of the customer programs to guide product decisions.
• Assess the digital video market, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.
• Define product vision, strategy, roadmap, and metrics for a best-in-class digital video experience.
• Own the development of detailed product requirements documents.
• Collaborate with science, engineering, design, and project management teams to deliver the product roadmap.
• Drive cross-functional projects and feature launches with teams inside and outside Prime Video, including marketing, content acquisition, legal, finance, customer service, and operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions on technology decisions and strategy.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with AI/ML technologies.
• Experience leading engineering discussions on technology decisions and strategy.
• Experience working with and influencing senior-level stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field or MBA.
• Experience with machine learning (ML) tools and methods.
• Experience reviewing user research and data for strategic and user-friendly design.
• Familiarity with modern GenAI or LLM tools.

About the Team

Prime Video's Global App Experience (GAE) organization builds a simple, intuitive, fast, responsive, and personalized streaming experience for Prime Video customers worldwide, across web, mobile, and living room devices. The Viewer Experience team focuses on the in-playback experience, including player controls, X-Ray, recaps, and in-playback content discovery.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $151,200.00 - $204,600.00 USD annually for locations in USA, CA, Culver City and USA, WA, Seattle. Final compensation includes sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
