About the Role
Netskope Product Managers are the bridge between our customers' business needs and the fast-moving trends of the security market. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to help lead our strategy for Global Compliance. In this role, you’ll be the key person driving the technical specs and execution needed to scale our global public sector and government business. You’ll own the requirements that help Netskope meet stringent international regulatory frameworks (such as US FedRAMP/DISA IL, Australia IRAP, Japan ISMAP, UK Public Sector, and Canada PBMM) alongside evolving regional Data Sovereignty mandates. Working at the intersection of Product, Core Engineering, Global Information Security (GIS/GRC), Platform Engineering, PMO, and Field Sales, you’ll turn complex compliance requirements into scalable platform features and repeatable, market-ready offerings.
What’s In It For You
- High-Impact Ownership: Directly responsible for a strategic revenue driver, helping Netskope expand into high-value US Federal and international public sector markets.
- Transformational Scope: Shift from reactive "best-effort" compliance firefighting to a proactive, strategic approach in building architectural platform capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Gain deep visibility and leadership experience by serving as the primary bridge between Product, Engineering, and global regulatory bodies.
- Strategic Authority: Be the go-to expert representing Netskope’s compliance architecture to government auditors and agencies, establishing yourself as a subject matter expert in global data sovereignty.
Responsibilities
- Compliance Program Strategy: Drive the end-to-end roadmap for Global Compliance and Data Sovereignty, ensuring alignment with rigorous government market requirements in the US, EMEA, APJ, and LATAM.
- Regulatory & Standards Translation: Convert complex global regulatory standards into actionable requirements to meet certifications and sovereign data mandates.
- Program Lifecycle Management: Partner across Engineering, Program Management, Product Management, Corporate Engineering, Legal, HR, and Finance to integrate security and compliance into projects and business processes.
- Compliance Standardization: Scale regional compliance initiatives (e.g., UK Public Sector, Australia IRAP, Japan ISMAP) into repeatable, enterprise-grade programs for global government business.
- Strategic Enablement: Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to translate compliance posture and certifications into customer-facing content.
- Operational Optimization: Modernize compliance handling through AI, automation, and advanced GRC tooling to streamline evidence collection and continuous monitoring.
- Stakeholder & Auditor Engagement: Act as the main authority on regulatory commitments, representing Netskope’s compliance architecture to government auditors, agencies, and enterprise customers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Program Management, or Security Engineering.
- 5+ years of direct experience in cloud security, enterprise networking, SaaS, or infrastructure security platforms.
- Compliance & Framework Fluency: Deep technical understanding of global security and regulatory standards (e.g., FedRAMP, PBMM, DoD SRG, CMMC, NIST SP 800-53, FIPS 140, Common Criteria, ISO 27001, SOC 2, Australia IRAP, Japan ISMAP, and regional data residency laws).
- Proven PM Execution: Track record of writing technical PRDs, collaborating with agile engineering teams, and launching cloud-native capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to influence senior engineering leaders, GRC teams, and external auditors without direct authority.
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex legal and regulatory jargon into clear technical requirements and executive summaries.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities.
Qualifications
- A BS in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or equivalent technical experience is required.
- An MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or an MBA is strongly preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- US Citizenship with an active US Government Security Clearance (Secret or above).
- Technical or security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer).
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data sovereignty/encryption technologies.
- Experience scaling product management processes or mentoring junior team members.
